Elmer’s is excited to announce that we have broken ground on Phase 2 of a long-term 4 Phase expansion plan after its last expansion only two years ago. This new expansion is 125’ x 192’ and is adjacent to the Paint and Assembly building that recently opened in 2020.

“While the past two years have been challenging, our team has worked relentlessly to support the significant growth we’ve seen globally in agriculture. Our goal with this expansion is to continue to add processes in-house, with the latest in laser cutting and forming technology, increasing our footprint to scale production and consolidate operations into a more efficient layout. Furthermore, we set out to provide an industry-leading work environment.” Says Elmer’s Manufacturing CEO Mike Friesen.

The expansion will be 24,000 sq ft of fabrication space equipped with a 4,800 sq ft mezzanine for production supporting staff, and a break room. New fabrication machinery will include two new CNC press brakes and a 10 kW automated laser cutting system. Welding, CNC machining, and processing stations will also transfer to the new facility to increase efficiency.

The state-of-the-art facility will feature an air-conditioned air exchange system which is unique amongst other welding facilities, meant to keep temperatures cooler and humidity down, to increase the comfort of production staff and provide a healthier environment.

Additional employment opportunities will come with this expansion, creating 8 immediate additional full-time positions and will provide the opportunity for approximately 20 more positions in the near future, in both direct and indirect production roles. The new capabilities and space will provide the ability to develop new products faster to suit the agriculture market’s needs while meeting growing production demands.
