What’s new

1. iOS app is here. The SD7 app is now available on iPhone and iPad.
2. Refreshed look. We’ve updated several screens for a cleaner, more consistent interface.
3. In-app help. A new help button and quick-start guide make it easier to get up and running.
4. Tap-to-adjust gauges. You can now tap Field mode gauges and the transport steering gauge directly to change their values — no need to dig through menus.
5. Improved transport steering. The transport steering screen has been redesigned. “Inverse Steering” has been renamed to Steering Perspective to better describe what the setting does.
6. Preset step size relocated. The preset step size setting has moved to the Presets page, where you’d expect to find it.
7. Manual tine phasing in transport mode. You can now trigger tine phasing manually while in transport mode to re-align the sections.
8. New calibration fault. The harrow will raise a fault if it has been calibrated incorrectly, so setup issues are caught before they affect operation.
9. New wrong-direction fault. Smart movement operations are now monitored for direction — if something moves the wrong way, you’ll see a clear fault instead of unexpected behavior.
10. Movement diagnostics. The app can now send smart movement trace files to support and delete them afterward, making diagnostics quicker.

Fixes and improvements

1. Smoother, more consistent movements. We’ve retuned smart movement for smoother, more consistent behavior across the board. Note: this may shift your saved down pressure presets slightly — please review and re-save them after upgrading.
2. Steadier angle sensor readings. Improved noise filtering reduces jitter in angle sensor values.
3. Better preset sync. Presets now stay in sync more reliably between the ISOBUS display and the app.
4. More reliable VT software updates. The ISOBUS display software (IOP file) now transfers to the controller more reliably during updates.
5. More reliable transition pages and the manual controls on them.
6. Improved diagnostics transfer.
7. Fixed: wheels no longer skip the pivot position when transitioning to field mode with manual pitch.
8. Fixed: harrow no longer gets stuck “lifting down pressure” when transitioning to transport mode.
9. Fixed: spurious latch faults no longer appear during transition to field mode.
10. Fixed: the software update page now refreshes properly when the controller reconnects.
